Water is an element that plays a very important role in supporting regional needs and development. Urban and rural areas need a clean water distribution network, so that it can meet regional needs. The clean water distribution network service in Kabanjahe District is served by PDAM Tirta Malem. The problem that occurs in the clean water distribution network service in Kabanjahe District is that water cannot be distributed properly to every service point. PDAM Tirta Malem Kabanjahe service area takes sources from Lau Bengap, Lau Melas and Lau Berneh. These three sources serve 11,665 house connections in Kabanjahe District. PDAM Tireta Malem's pipe network in Kabanjahe District uses polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes. The pipe diameters used vary with sizes 50 mm, 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm and 300 mm. Simulation results using the Epanet application show that there is negative pressure in several areas in Kabanjahe District, especially on Jalan Sekata and Jalan Katepul. The gravity distribution service for clean water has not been able to distribute water optimally. So help is needed with the addition of a booster pump to drain the water optimally. The function of adding a booster pump is to increase the pressure in the pipe so that the clean water distribution network in Kabanjahe District can flow properly
