The increasing of human population nowadays continues to drive the incessant growth of residential development. Continuous development will affect people's lives, especially the domestic wastewater management. People generally use septic tanks in domestic wastewater management, but this often do not comply with the provisions regulated in the SNI, which potentially polluting shallow groundwater. Because of these issues, the author conducted a laboratory simulation of septic tank wastewater seepage on a small scale. This research was carried out in a 100 cm x 100 cm x 40 cm glass box.The aim of this study was to determine the distribution distance, flow rate, and travel time of septic tank wastewater in a horizontal and vertical direction within the glass box. The distribution sumulation was performed using laboratory tests with 1:10 ratio according to the existing conditions and also the soil physical properties were tested. Contaminant parameters including the concentration of Escherichia coli and Ammonia (NH3N) were analyzed based on distance and time. The number of samples tested in this study was 20 point arranged diagonally. The results of soil physical property tests included specific gravity value of soil 2,643, plastic limit 33,51%, liquid limit 39,983%, plastic index 6,473%, sieve analysis 10,28%, moisture content 27% and permeability 4,582 x 10-5 cm/s. The results of Escherichia coli concentration tests at showed that the concentration was 15,1 x 107 (CFU/100 ml) at the closets distance from the source of spread and 3,6 x 107 (CFU/100 ml) at the farthest distance with the removal effieciency of 75.6%. The Ammonia (NH3N) concentration at the closest distance from the source of spread was 4,4 (mg/L) and at the farthest distance was 2,5 (mg/L) with the removal effieciency of 65.9%. The simulation results of the vertical spread of of septic tank wastewater in glass box at a distance 20 cm required a travel time of 269 minutes (4 hours and 29 minutes) with infiltration rate of 4,46 cm/hour and horizontal spread of in the glass box at a distance 80 cm required a travel time of 565 minutes (9 hours 2 5 minutes) with a septic tank wastewater spread speed/flow rate 7,2 x 10-3 Liter/minute
