Sociology and literature have the same object and discussion, namely society and aspects of community life itself. Sociology of literature is a science that examines how the social life of society is depicted in literary works. The novel Love by Accident as a form of literary work contains storytelling that describes various aspects of social life. For this reason, this research will examine the social and moral aspects contained in the novel Love by Accident using a literary sociology approach. From the results of the research it is concluded: (1) Social aspects in the novel Love by Accident are reflected through various elements such as economic conditions, interactions between characters, education, culture, and social norms. The characters' decisions, aspirations, and interactions are influenced by social factors such as financial stability, social hierarchy, and cultural norms. Differences in economic status between characters reflect the complexity of social dynamics in society. Interactions between characters display social norms such as courtesy, consideration for others' feelings, and hierarchy.
