dc.description.abstractThe title of this paper is Description of Black Racial Discrimination in the Movie 'Two Distant Strangers'. The problem and purpose of this research is to find out what racial discrimination is, and what are the types, impacts, and challenges depicted in the movie. In writing this paper, the method used by the author in this research is qualitative description, namely searching through the source of several expert theories, and internet sources, related to the film and collecting data by watching the movie repeatedly, observing and quoting sentences or words that show the main character and the challenges he faces. The description of this research is to describe the tension between the two main characters and the challenges of racial discrimination. The movie depicts the story of the main character, an African-American man who is trapped in a tragic cycle of repeated police violence. The man continues to be trapped on the same day that repeats itself, where he keeps trying to get home but continues to be blocked by fatal encounters with the police officer.en_US
