The velocity of money is an economic concept that measures how quickly money circulates in the economy to purchase goods and services. There are many factors that can affect the velocity of money, one of which is technological innovation and payment systems, which are now largely conducted digitally. This study aims to analyze the significant differences in the velocity of money in Indonesia before and after the rise of digital payment trends using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test method to test the hypothesis of whether there is a significant difference in the velocity of money in Indonesia or not. The hypothesis test results show that there is a significant difference in the velocity of money before and after the rise of digital payment systems. This means that digital payment systems affect the velocity of money in Indonesia.
