Efektivitas Nanoherbal Daun Haramonting (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk) Terhadap Histologi Jantung Tikus Putih (Rattus Norvegicus L.) yang Dipaparkan Allethrin
Effectiveness of Nanoherbal Haramonting Leaves (Rhodomyrtus Tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.) on Histologi Heart of White Rats ( Rattus Norvegicus L.) Which Exposed Allethrin
Abstract
The use of electric mosquito repellent is a type that is in great demand by Indonesian people because it does not produce smoke, is long-lasting, smells good and is easy to use. However, without realizing it, electric mosquito repellents contain dangerous substances, one of which is Allethrin. Exposure to mosquito repellent can reduce the body's ability to produce antioxidants. To neutralize and destroy free radicals, antioxidants made from natural ingredients are needed, one of which is haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.). To get optimal effects, innovation in making it into a nanoherbal preparation needs to be carried out. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nanoherbal haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.) on the histology of the heart of white rats (Rattus norvegicus L.) exposed to allethrin. This research consisted of five treatments using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), namely: (1) Negative control (only exposed to allethrin); (2) Positive Control (Exposed to allethrin and given Vitamin C); (3) Allethrin + 100 mg/KgBW nanoherbal haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.); (4) Allethrin + 200 mg/KgBW nanoherbal haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.); (5) Allethrin + 300 mg/KgBW nanoherbal haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk.). The results of the research show that nanoherbal haramonting leaves (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa (Aiton) Hassk). A dose of 200 mg/KgBW affected the histology of rat hearts using the paraffin method and Hematoxylin-Eosin (HE) staining in rats (Rattus norvegicus L.) exposed to Allethrin.
