Jenis-Jenis Lumut Sejati (Bryophyta) di Kawasan Taman Hutan Raya Bukit Barisan Desa Bandar Baru Kecamatan Sibolangit Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Bukit Barisan Forest Park located at Bandar Baru Village Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera is one the forest area which has high diversity. It is a forest area that hasvaried topographic and ecological forest conditions which support a high diversity of plant species, one of which is true mosses (Bryophyta). The Bukit Barisan Forest Park area has suitable conditions as a habitat for true moss, but it is not known how many species of true mosses at the Bukit Barisan Forest Park. This research aimed to identify the species and the morphological characteristics are found at the Bukit Barisan Forest Park Area. This research was carried out from November 2023 to January 2024 using the exploration method. 29 species of true mosses are obtained from 21 genera of true mosses (Bryophyta). The true mosses (Bryophyta) found at the Bukit Barisan Forest Park area occupies variety habitats and different topographic conditions, which are the edge of cliffs, along the river flows, the forest edges exposure by full sunlight, and varied substrates in the areas within the fores. Shaded by tree canopies, as well as the physical and chemical conditions that are different from each other.
