dc.description.abstract | Research on the Effect of Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) and Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) on Nicaraguan Bamboo Node Culture (G. angustifolia Kunth.) was carried out at the G10 Agrotech Laboratory, Jl. Sei Bahorok, District. Medan Baru, Medan, North Sumatra. This research aims to obtain the best combination of BAP and IBA concentrations for the growth of Nicaraguan bamboo (G. angustifolia Kunth.) explants. This research used a two factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 levels of the growth regulator BAP and 4 levels of the growth regulator IBA. The results of the statistical analysis test showed that the combination of BAP and IBA concentrations had a significant effect on shoot growth time, number of shoots, number of leaves and shoot height (p<0.05). The best combination is obtained from BAP concentration of 1.0 ppm + IBA 2.5 ppm (A3L3) for the fastest shoot growth time. BAP 0.5 ppm + IBA 0 ppm (A2L0) for the highest number of shoots. BAP 0.5 ppm + IBA 1.5 ppm (A1L1) for the largest number of leaves. BAP 0.75 ppm + IBA 2.0 ppm for the highest shoot height | en_US |
