dc.description.abstract | The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is advancing and finding applications in various fields, including healthcare. This research aims to develop a pH measurement device for detecting urine pH levels in diabetes patients using ESP 8266-based IoT technology. The ESP 8266 serves as the central controller connected to a pH sensor to detect and measure pH values from urine samples quickly. Data generated by the device are sent as notifications to the Telegram application for monitoring and analysis purposes. Integrated with a microcontroller equipped with wireless communication modules, the device facilitates data transmission to the Telegram cloud server. Users can directly monitor measurement results through the Telegram application. The study utilizes a pH range between 4.5 and 5.5 as an indicator of diabetes, with pH values above 5.5 indicating normal body conditions. From ten tested urine samples, pH measurements indicated diabetes (5.40, 4.96, 4.81, 5.14, and 5.21) as well as normal body conditions (6.02, 5.87, 6.00, 5.97, and 5.89). Therefore, this device aids in more effective and efficient health monitoring. | en_US |
