dc.description.abstract | Violence against women, especially (wives) can occur due to various factors. Apart
from being caused by occurring in a relatively personal sphere, it is also considered
reasonable and believed that treating the wife or people within the husband's household at
will (at will) as a leader in the household who has the authority to do acts that are justifiable
to him.
The research method uses the Research Specification method, Research Approach
Methods and Research Data Sources. The data sources used are primary and secondary data
sources that have a relationship with the problem being studied. After all the data has been
collected, it is then analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods.
Research shows that forms of violence against women in the household are physical
violence, physical violence, economic deprivation, and sexual violence. Physical violence in
the form of beatings, namely slapping and kicking. Physical violence in the form of verbal
abuse, harsh words, even threats to be divorced or killed. Economic deficiency in the form of
a husband (Head of Household) who does not have income and does not support both
physically and mentally as well as fulfilling his obligations as the backbone of the family.
Sexual violence in the form of forced sexual intercourse, threats, and under the influence of
alcohol. Efforts to protect the law against women victims of domestic violence, namely
referring to the applicable laws and regulations, namely the Republic of Indonesia Law
number 16 of 2006 concerning the Protection of Witnesses and Victims as well as the Law of
the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Violence In the
Household. Then also carry out legal analysis, outreach to the community, to obtain data on
the extent to which the rights of women and children are protected and socialization in the
form of providing assistance to victims of domestic violence. | en_US |
