Perancangan Sistem Informasi Rapor Online Berbasis Website di SD Swasta RK 6 Pematang Siantar

Abstract

Report cards are assessments given to reflect students' achievements in school. However, the use of handwritten report cards for each student individually can be very time-consuming. Despite this, many schools have changed the way they deliver student grades. Some use a system where all students' grades are posted in the classroom. However, this method prevents parents from knowing their child's individual grades. Writing and entering student grades into report cards also typically takes a long time. Therefore, a study was conducted on an online report card information system, which is expected to assist teachers in processing student grades and help parents who want to directly view their child's academic performance at school. The research method used is the system development method with the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study show that the developed online report card information system can improve the efficiency of the grading process and the distribution of report cards at SD Swasta RK 6 Pematang Siantar. This system not only facilitates teachers in inputting and managing student grades but also provides convenience for parents and students to access academic information quickly and accurately. Thus, it is hoped that this system can be an effective solution in supporting the educational process at the school.
