    Abstract
Asthma is a chronic condition characterized by the respiratory tract and requires continuous monitoring and management to prevent asthma attacks. In this study, an asthma detector based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using an ESP32 microcontroller was designed. This tool aims to determine the design and working principle of the tool so as to produce the final value of all processes carried out by the ESP32 microcontroller and the design of this tool has been equipped with additional technology in the form of IoT which is connected to the user's smartphone as a display of the user's breathing condition in realtime and provides early warning if asthma symptoms are detected. The system consists of a respiratory sensor connected to ESP32 to measure respiratory parameters such as airflow rate and breath volume. The data obtained from the sensor is transmitted to the cloud platform via a Wi-Fi connection provided by the ESP32, allowing access and monitoring by users and medical personnel via the app. In addition, the system is equipped with data analysis that can detect abnormal breathing patterns that indicate an asthma attack. Initial tests show that the device is able to measure and transmit respiratory data with fairly accurate results by providing real-time notifications when breathing anomalies occur. With further development, this IoT-based asthma detection tool is expected to help users in managing their asthma.
