dc.description.abstract | This study aims to explain the translation quality of cereal packaging products that are translated from Mandarin into Indonesian. This study uses the translation quality assessment model from Nababan which defines three categories, namely accuracy, acceptability, and readability. This study uses cereal as an object and a reader who has met the requirements and criteria to determine the level of accuracy, acceptability and readability of the translation of cereal products. 2, acceptable with a total of 5, less acceptable 6, unacceptable 2 and a high level of readability with a total of 6, a medium readability level of 5, and a low readability level of 2. It can be concluded that the contents of the source text are not conveyed correctly to the target text, but the text can be generally accepted, and can be understood by readers who are native speakers of the target text, although there are several words in the target text that need to be read more than once to find out their meaning. | en_US |
