Analisis Kepribadian Tokoh dalam Cerpen الكأس الأولى /Al-Ka`Sul Al-`Ūlā/ “Cangkir Pertama”/ Karya Tantawi 2011

Abstract

This research discusses the personality forms of the characters in the short story الكأس الأولى / Al-ka`sul -`Ūlā/ “The first cup”/ Karya Tantawi 2011. The aim of this research is to describe the character personalities that occur in the characters in the literary psychology approach and focusing on the psychoanalytic theory pioneered by Sigmund Freud. Data was collected using document study techniques. The data for this research are stories in the form of Arabic words in the form of narrative and dialogue between characters. The results of the research show that there are 3 characters in total in the short story. The main character is Abd al-mu'min Affendi short story الكأس الأولى / Alka `Sul -`Ūlā/ “The First Cup”/ Tantawi's work 2011 through a literary psychology approach. This research is a literature study using a and two additional characters, smuggler 1 and smuggler 2. These three characters fulfill the personality elements of Id, Ego, Superego as follows : Abd Al-mu'min Afendi with the character Id: 11, Ego: 5, Superego: 5. And additional characters, namely smuggler 1 with character Id: 2, and Ego: 2. Smuggler 2 with character Id: 1, Ego: 2, Superego: 1.
