Upaya UN Women dalam Mendorong Partisipasi Politik Perempuan di India Tahun 2014-2019

Abstract

The focus of this research is to examine the various efforts undertaken by UN Women to encourage women's political participation in India from 2014 to 2019. The main issues of this research is to see how efforts undertaken by UN Women to encourage women’s political participation in India from 2014 to 2019. The two aims addressed in this research are the explanation of the efforts made by UN Women and the description of the obstacles faced by UN Women in promoting women's political participation in India during 2014-2019. The method used in this research is qualitative, while the data collection method employed is literature study. The results of this research show that UN Women has various programs aimed at encouraging women's participation in India. These efforts include empowering women in the fields of politics, education, advocacy, and training. In carrying out these efforts, there are also various obstacles, including socio-cultural, political, and infrastructural challenges.
