Penerapan Metode Regresi Linear Berganda terhadap Faktor Kelahiran di Kota Pematangsiantar Tahun 2020

Abstract

This research uses the multiple linear regression method. This research aims to analyze the number of births in Pematangsiantar City. This research involved four independent variables, number of medical personnel, number of couples of childbearing age, number of contraceptive users, and number of marriages. The results show that there are 2 variables that have an influence, namely the number of couples of childbearing age and the number of contraceptive users and there are 2 variables that have no effect, namely the number of medical personnel and the number of marriages. The determination test shows that 65.7% of the variation in the number of births can be explained by the independent variables used in the model, while the remaining 34.3% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.
