Prototipe Sistem Penyedot Debu Resin Akrilik Gigi Tiruan Berbasis Multi Sensor
Prototype Vacuuming System Multi-Sensor Based Denture Acrylic Resin Vacuuming System
Abstract
Over time the demand for dentures will continue to increase every year. Evidence
shows that in 2016 there were 6330 acrylic dentures and in 2017 it increased to
7712 dentures. Dentures are generally made of acrylic resin. In the process of
making dentures, fine dust will be produced which is respirable. In
Murwaningsih's research in 2022 less than 50% of operators did not use masks
while working in the laboratory, so that these particles could be inhaled into the
respiratory tract which could also occur to people around the operator. This can
certainly endanger lung health with the onset of pneumoconiosis. The purpose of
making this alata is to develop an innovative prototype system that is able to
overcome the problem of acrylic resin dust in denture making. This system
integrates various types of sensors, such as the GP2Y1010AU0F dust sensor,
PMS5003 particulate sensor, sound sensor, infrared sensor, and smoke sensor.
Through the combination of these sensors, the system will automatically detect,
control, and reduce the acrylic resin dust generated during the denture
manufacturing process. Each of the sensor readings will be displayed on a 20x4
LCD. This research is an important step in improving the quality of denture
products and maintaining the health of workers involved in the production
process.
