Fuel Control System and Wind Pressure in Dirty Waste Oil Fuel Stoves
Abstract
The increasing use of fossil fuels has caused various environmental probl
ems, such
as air pollution and global warming. One solution that can reduce this negative
impact is to utilize waste as an alternative energy source. Dirty waste oil, which is
usually considered hazardous waste, has the potential to be used as fuel. Utiliz ing
dirty waste oil not only helps reduce environmental pollution, but also provides a
more economical and effective solution to energy needs. This research aims to
design a fuel and air pressure control system for a stove fueled by dirty waste oil
which u tilizes Arduino Uno R3 as the brain of all components, a power supply to
supply power to the components, L298 as a driver for the blower, the blower as a
generator of wind pressure on the stove, potentiometer as a wind pressure
regulator. The way this tool works is by checking, if the servo is on then the valve
will release pertalite oil as a trigger for combustion in the furnace, the oil valve
will flow oil for 1 second then a check will be carried out if the oil has gone down
and the ADC has If you check, the lighter will come on and the blower will turn on,
then you will adjust the wind speed on the blower using a potentiometer, then the
flame which was initially red will change to blue and can be used for cooking and
so on.
