dc.description.abstract | Digital food ordering has become an increasingly popular trend in the food industry, allowing customers to order food easily and quickly through digital platforms. In an effort to improve operational efficiency and customer experience, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is a promising solution by utilizing internet connectivity and sensors to create a digitally connected system. This final project aims to develop an IoT-based food ordering tool that allows customers to order food easily through their digital devices. This tool will be connected to the internet network and will be able to interact with the restaurant management system to take orders, process payments, and manage food inventory in real-time. The making of this food menu ordering tool is equipped with ESP32 which is a microcontroller that acts as a system control center, ESP32 runs a webserver that provides a user interface for ordering. Through ESP32, order data from buyers is processed and sent to other output devices such as LCD, PC and Buzzer. The results showed that the designed food ordering tool has a positive impact because it can increase efficiency and convenience in the food ordering process. | en_US |
