Polylimonene carbonate is a natural-based polymer produced by a copolymerization process between limonene oxide and carbon dioxide (CO2). Polylimonene carbonate has a density of 1.09 g/cm3. Polylimonene carbonate has wide applications in industry and others. The raw material used in the pre-design of this factory is grapefruit peel. The process begins with the raw material preparation stage. At this stage the grapefruit skin will be cleaned and then chopped. The second stage is the extraction process where the grapefruit peel will be extracted using Ethanol solvent in an extractor reactor to produce limonene. Extractor reaction conditions at a temperature of 60°C with a pressure of 1 atm. The third stage is the oxidation process to produce limonene oxide from limonene. The fourth stage is the polymerization process where limonene oxide is contacted with carbon dioxide with the help of a Zinc Diiminate Complex catalyst. Then produce polylimonene carbonate and dry it using a Rotary Dryer, the polylimonene carbonate product is stored in the production warehouse. The pre-designed factory for making polylimonene carbonate from grapefruit peel using a solution polymerization process has a capacity of 3,000 tons/year and operates for 330 days a year. The factory is planned to be established in Prambon District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province with a factory area of 11,380 m2. The water requirements for this factory are supplied from the Magetan River Canal. The planned form of business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a workforce of 114 people. The results of the economic analysis of this polylimonene carbonate manufacturing plant from breadfruit are as follows Total Investment Capita : Rp 466.899.932.951,59,- - Total Production Cost : Rp 640.258.817.909,84,- - Net Profit : Rp 115.338.658.497,24,- - Profit Margin (PM) : 25,7225 % - Break Even Point (BEP) : 49,1505 % - Return on Investment (ROI) : 24,1382 % - Pay Out Time (POT) : 4.2 Years - Return on Network (RON) : 37,1358 % - Internal Rate of Return (IRR) : 23,9568 % From the results of the economic aspect analysis, it can be concluded that the polylimonene carbonate manufacturing plant from grapefruit peel is feasible to establishen_US
