Peran Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dalam Meningkatkan Perekonomian Keluarga Petani di Desa Sei Mencirim Kabupaten Deliserdang Tahun 2023

Abstract

This research aims to see how the role of women's groups, namely PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) is a forum that forms business programs in improving the family economy. Aiming to increase family income in order to realize the welfare of family farmers in Sei Mencirim village. In this research I used a qualitative method. Data collection usually uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the PKK's role in improving the economy of family farmers through MSMEs empowered by the PKK group for women farmers. As well as seeing the obstacles of PKK groups and women farmer groups in improving the economy of farmer families. The results of this study show that women farmers in Sei Mencirim village have a role in improving the family economy through empowerment carried out by the PKK group for women farmers by developing MSMEs through food management carried out by women farmer groups. So that this activity is considered relevant to encourage the economic growth rate of family farmers in Sei Mencirim village.
