Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Budidaya Salak Dikota Sabang (Salacca zalacca) (Studi Kasus : Desa Balohan, Kecamatan Sukajaya, Kota Sabang, Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam)

Abstract

This research aims to find out what internal and external factors influence the development of snake fruit cultivation in Balohan Villagem Sukajaya District, Sabang City. Also to find out alternative strategies and priority strategies and priority strategies that will be used in developing snake fruit cultivation in Balohan Village, Sukajaya District, Sabang City. In this research, the researcher used a purposive method in determining the research location. This method is a method of deliberately determining the location in Balohan Village, Sukajaya District, Sabang City with the researcher’s consideration that Balohan Village is a salak fruit producing village and has criteria that meet the data that will be taken. Such as the number of respondent and the amount og land used. In carrying out sampling, the researchers used the method of distributing questionnaires to 30 snake fruit farmer respondent in Balohan Village, Sukajaya District, Sabang City. Researchers also use primary data and also secondary data obtained from research results. The data analysis method used in this research is a descriptive method and also used SWOT and QSPM analysis methods. The results of the research show that the internal strategy factor (stranghts) has a value of 2.73 and the value of the strategy factor (weaknesses) is 0.36, which means that the value of the influence of strenghts is greater that the value of the influence of weaknesses on the development of snake fruit cultivation in Balohan Village, Sukajaya District, Sabang City, while the difference in the value of external factors (opportunities) has a value of 2.84 and the value of strategic factors (threats) is 0.24, which means that the value of the influence of oportunities is greater that the value of the ingluence og threats on the developmet of snake fruit cultivation in Balohan Village, District Sukajaya, Sabang City. Based on the value of the SWOT analysis, it is in square 1 or the strategy used is (Aggressive Strategy) or (Growht Oriented Strategy) and the strategy used is the S-O (Strength-Oppoetunities) strategy, which means this strategy uses strangths by taking advantage of exising opportunities.
