Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas di Kota Medan Tahun 2023 Menggunakan Analisis Jalur

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence Road User Negligence, Vehicle Condition, Road Condition and Environmental Conditions have on the Traffic Accident Rate in Medan City. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Medan City Police. The analysis technique used in this research is Path Analysis. Path analysis is used to reveal direct and indirect relationships between various factors such as road user negligence (X1), vehicle conditions (X2), road conditions (X3), environmental conditions (X4), and traffic accident rates (Y) on accident rates. The results showed that driver behavioral factors, including driving speed and compliance with traffic rules, had the most significant influence on accident rates. Apart from that, the condition of road infrastructure and traffic density also contribute significantly.
