Perancangan Alat Pendeteksi Asam Lambung dan Dehidrasi Tubuh Menggunakan Sensor pH dan Sensor TCS3200 Berbasis IoT (Internet of Things)
Design of A Gastric Acid and Body Dehydration Detection Tool Using IoT Based pH Sensor and TCS3200 Sensor (Internet of Things)
Abstract
Acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a chronic condition in
which stomach acid and stomach contents rise up the esophagus causing a burning
sensation in the chest, difficulty swallowing and nausea. Dehydration is a
condition in which the balance of fluids in the body is disturbed or what is said to
be the body experiencing a lack of fluid. In this study, a tool was developed to
detect stomach acid and body dehydration based on the Internet of Things (IoT).
This tool uses a PH4502C sensor to detect stomach acid with a direct method,
namely dipping directly at the tip of the pH sensor in salivary fluid and a
TCS3200 sensor to detect the level of dehydration of the body through urine color
and reading data from the sensor will be processed by an Arduino Uno
microcontroller. The results of the data collected by these two sensors will be
displayed on a 16x2 LCD and will be sent wirelessly via an Internet of Things
(IoT) connection to be monitored in real time.
