    Abstract
Energy serves as a basic element to support humanity's fundamental social activities. In the conventional energy framework, individuals are largely dependent on non-renewable resources such as oil, coal and natural gas. Currently, the main focus of global energy efforts revolves around the exploration and utilization of sustainable energy sources. Solar energy, as a natural and sustainable energy reservoir, has garnered immense interest in the energy sector. ATS is used to control the transfer of energy from the primary source (PLTS) to the backup source (PLN) by a backup device using a delay timer controller and relay switch located on the electrical panel. Therefore, researchers designed an electric power supply control system from PLTS to PLN and vice versa using an iot-based automatic transfer switch (ATS). this research aims to test how the electric power supply transfer control system works and to determine the ability of the automatic control circuit to supply power to the water pump. this research was conducted in lubuk kasih village, kec. brandan barat, langkat district. Sample testing is done using a water pump machine as a plant watering sprinkler. Samples taken on the ATS control system are voltage, current, power and frequency coming out of the ATS output to the water pump. Data collection was carried out with an interval of 5 minutes for 3 hours. the results of this study obtained an average frequency generated of 50.043 hertz, 50.025 hertz, and 50.0125 hertz. average voltage of 215.4 volts, 215.275 volts, and 213.4375 volts. average current of 1.0725 amperes, 1.0625 amperes, and 1.0375 amperes. average power of 211.125 watts, 203.7625 watts, and 188.3 watts. In the sample test, the ATS was able to supply power to the water pump.
