dc.description.abstractThis study aims to identify whether there is a role of teacher efficacy on job satisfaction in junior high school teachers at SMP X Medan. Based on personal communication done with the teachers there, some teachers experienced low in both teacher efficacy and job satisfaction levels during their teaching period. This study involved 30 respondents using a sampling method called total sampling. Data for teacher efficacy were collected using Teacher Efficacy Guru SMP scale by Callista and Natasya (2024) consisted of 24 items, meanwhile data for job satisfaction were collected using a personally constructed scale consisted of 38 items Data were then processed using simple linear regression technique assisted by using an application called Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP) version 18. By using the aforementioned simple linear regression technique, the p value obtained was 0.004 (p <0.05) hence this proves that there is a role of teacher efficacy on job satisfaction in junior high school teachers at SMP X Medan.en_US
