This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and stress in early adult women with acne vulgaris. Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition that affects adolescents and early adults. This condition can have a significant impact on an individual's self-esteem and stress levels, especially in women who are more prone to experiencing this skin problem due to hormonal changes. Selfesteem is an individual's assessment of themselves, both positively and negatively. Early adult women with acne vulgaris tend to have low self-esteem due to dissatisfaction with their physical appearance. This can trigger feelings of shame, anxiety, and insecurity that can cause stress in the sufferer. Stress is a condition in which individuals feel pressured or unable to deal with existing demands. The research method used is a quantitative method with correlational techniques. The subjects in this study amounted to 105 people with the criteria of women aged 18- 25 years who experienced moderate and severe acne vulgaris. The research instruments used were Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale to measure self-esteem and Perceived Stress Scale to measure stress. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and stress in early adult women with acne vulgaris with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a correlation coefficient value of -0.390. This means that the lower one's self-esteem, the higher the stress level. Conversely, the higher one's self-esteem, the lower the stress level.en_US
