Design Designing A Web-Based Buru Health Center Information System for Improved Health Services
Abstract
The design of the Website-Based Puskesmas Buru Information System is a technology platform that aims to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of health service management at Puskesmas Buru. This system is designed to provide an integrated solution in managing patient data recording and appointments. The research method used is the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system implementation and maintenance. The system was developed using HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL database programming languages. The main features of the system include recording patient data and managing appointments. The system allows systematic and structured recording of patient data, and makes it easy for patients to make appointments with medical personnel online. The result of this research is a system that generates periodic reports on patient data and appointment schedules. The implementation of this information system is expected to bring a number of benefits, including improvements in administrative management, patient data transparency, patient participation, and time efficiency. The system built can be accessed easily via the web so that patients and medical personnel can access the latest information about health services quickly and carry out administrative processes more efficiently. Puskesmas managers are also better able to make the right decisions based on accurate data and reports.
