Sistem Informasi Manajemen Dental Care pada LDGC Berbasis Website

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era offers numerous conveniences, including in the management of dental clinics. An effective information system is essential to enhance the efficiency and quality of services at LGDC Dental Clinic. This study aims to design a web-based Management Information System to aid in the management of activities and information at LGDC Dental Clinic.The system utilizes several tools and technologies, including HTML for building the basic structure and layout of web pages, PHP for processing data and business logic, JavaScript to add interactivity and enhance user experience, and MySQL as the database management system to store and manage dental care- related information.With this information system, patients can more easily consult with dentists remotely and access dental careinformation. Additionally, the system helps in managing important information relatedto dental and oral care for the community.The development approach used for this system is the Waterfall method, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, program testing, and maintenance. This method ensures that the system development is conducted in a structured and measured manner.The results ofthe study indicate that the web-based Dental Care Management Information System provides significant benefits in facilitating the reservation process, remote consultation, and internal communication at LGDC Dental Clinic. Therefore, this system is expected to optimize the management of activities and communication engagement at LGDC Dental Clinic more effectively and efficiently.
