    Abstract
    Beta carotene is an important provitamin A for human health which acts as an antioxidant and supports the immune system. This research aims to design a tool to detect beta carotene levels in fruits and vegetables using the TCS3200 color sensor as a reader of nutritional content. Beta carotene is an important compound that acts as an antioxidant and precursor of vitamin A, essential for the health of the body, especially in the function of vision and the immune system. In this research, the TCS3200 sensor is used to read the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) value of the tested sample, and the obtained value is processed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller. This tool consists of several main components: TCS3200 sensor, Arduino Uno microcontroller, and LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen to display the measurement results. The test results show that this tool is able to provide accurate and reliable results, with a relative error of 8.1% compared to international standard values. So from the measurement results on the samples of carrots, oranges, broccoli, and tomatoes, that carrots have a higher percentage of beta carotene, to improve the accuracy which is quite good, it is necessary to pay attention to the intensity of light in the measurement. Overall, this study shows that the use of the TCS3200 color sensor and Arduino Uno microcontroller to detect beta carotene levels in fruits and vegetables is an effective method and has considerable potential.
