Pemanfaatan Bus Wisata Pemerintah Kota Medan dalam Meningkatkan Daya Tarik Wisata Kota Medan

Abstract

The collaboration between the Medan City Government and the Medan City Transportation Office presents the Medan Tour Bus which makes it easier for the public and tourists to explore various historical monuments in the city of Medan for free until an undetermined time. This program is a manifestation of the government's commitment to increase public interest in the h istory and culture of the city of Medan. This study aims to determine the benefits of tourism bus transportation as a tourist attraction in the city of Medan. The research method used is literature, namely by researching from books and the internet. In add ition, it also uses field research methods, namely conducting direct research with interviews with the Transportation Agency. The results of this study are known that the use of Tour Buses as tourism promotion in Medan City can support tourism in Medan Cit y and introduce the history of Medan City.
