dc.description.abstract | To face various challenges, a company understands that quality Human Resources (HR) is one of its greatest assets. Therefore, the company does not only expect employees that possess excellent technical skills, but also possess the necessary skills and knowledge to meet business demands, serving as the key element to encounter evolving competition. Currently, the companies and organizations perceive the Millennial generation as a focal point because of both their numbers in the workplace and their characteristics and perspectives compared to other generations. The Research examines the effect of work-life balance and work motivation on performance through job satisfaction conducted at Bank SUMUT Medan Sukaramai Branch, with a sample of 70 millennial employees. Data are processed using descriptive analysis and path analysis with Smart PLS software. The results of the Research a direct, positive, and significant effect of the work-life balance on job satisfaction; work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on performance; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance; and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. These results indirectly demonstrate the positive and considerable effect of work-life balance on performance through job satisfaction, and a positive and significant effect of motivation on performance through job satisfaction. | en_US |
