Employees’ performance at KPP Pratama Medan Polonia Office is not optimal. It is
reflected in the level of errors in their job and rhe failture of targeted achievement.
Besides that, low work flexibility is reflected by the difficulty for employees to adapt.
Work experience is seen to be weak, especially in the shift from working in the office
to working offline and online in the post-pandemic. Work environment uncertainty
also influences the employee’ effectiveness and efficiency. The objective of the
research is to examine and analyze the influence pf some factors such as work
flexibility, work experience, and work environment uncertainty on employee’
performance. The research uses descriptive quantitative method. The samples are
100 employees, taken by using census sampling technique. The data are collected by
distributing questionnaires and analyzed by using SmartPLS application. The result
of the research shows that work experience and work flexibility have positive and
significant influence on the increase in employee’ performance with work flexibility
mediates the correlation. On the other hand, the variable of work environment
uncertainty has negative and significant influence on employee’ performance at the
original sample value of -0,295.
