dc.description.abstractThe efficiency of water distribution will be influenced by the speed of water flow and channel conditions, where these two factors can be manifested through the roughness value or channel constant value. This research aims to determine the value of Manning's roughness and the chezy constant in 6 vegetated tertiary channels and channels that have been trimmed of vegetation. The roughness values for concrete channels are 0.001, 0.009, 0.002. The roughness values in the soil channel before the vegetation is trimmed are: 0.0016, 0.004, 0.03. The roughness values in the soil channel after the vegetation has been trimmed are: 0.001, 0.005, 0.03. Chezy constant values in concrete channels are 66.44, 79.77 80.74. Chezy constant values in the soil channel before the vegetation is pruned are: 37.95, 48.33. 15.82. Chezy constant values in the soil channel after the vegetation has been pruned are: 47.26, 63.33, 18.en_US
