This research aims to improve the operational efficiency of chicken coops through the application of IoT-based automation technology using an ESP32 microcontroller. The designed system involves the use of LDR sensors to detect light intensity and rain sensors to detect weather. The system automates lighting control, canopy closure, and feeding based on real-time data from the sensors. At certain hours, an automated mechanism regulates the feeding and drinking water. The system implementation also comes with real-time monitoring and control connected to an Android device, allowing the farmer to monitor the condition of the cage remotely. The results show that this automation system can reduce energy consumption, improve feeding consistency, and optimize the environmental conditions of the cages. In conclusion, the application of IoT technology with the ESP32 microcontroller has successfully improved operational efficiency and chicken welfare in the coop.en_US
