Evaluasi Desain Situs Web Perpustakaan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Berdasarkan Metode Usability Index Checklist (UIC)

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the quality of the website design for the Library of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This was descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research population of all active students (42,052) registered as members of the library at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The sample was selected using the Slovin formula so that a sample size of 100 people was obtained through Non-Probability Sampling with Accidental Sampling techniques. The research findings show that the level of website quality based on: 1) the design of information discovery is 72%; 2) the design of information understanding is 80%; 3) the support for user tasks is 85%; 4) and the presentation of information is 73%. Therefore, an average of 75% is obtained. It indicates that the user evaluation of the website design of the Library of the Economics Faculty, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta achieved a score of 75%, meaning that the quality of the website design is in the good category.
