dc.description.abstractAir pollution is the most important problem that occurs in developing and developed countries. Air pollution causes a decrease in air quality which affects the health of living things and the surrounding environment. Therefore, a tool is needed that can provide information about the gas content that occurs in a room. One way is to use an air quality monitoring system that detects CO and CO2 gas using an MQ-7 sensor and an MQ-135 sensor. Where these sensors will help detect and measure air quality gas levels in a room accompanied by ATMega2560 as a microcontroller. Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which functions to display the reading data and speakers that function as sound indicators. The test results of this system are that the system is able to read the CO and CO2 gas content in the University of North Sumatra campus environment. Sending information in real time if the gas content exceeds the predetermined threshold value.en_US
