This research discusses code mixing in the lyrics of Yuka's songs Baby You and Happy Date. The purpose of the research is to describe the form of code mixing and the factors that cause code mixing in the lyrics of Baby You and Happy Date by Yuka. The data sources used in this research are the lyrics of Baby You and Happy Date by Yuka. This research uses descriptive method. The method of data collection and data analysis used in this research is the listening method with indirect observation techniques through song lyrics. The theories used in this research are sociolinguistics and code mixing. The results found that there is the use of outward code mixing in both song lyrics with Japanese as the main language and English as the insertion language. In both song lyrics, 2 forms of code mixing were found, namely code mixing in the form of words and code mixing in the form of phrases. In the lyrics of the song Baby You, 15 data were found and in the lyrics of the song Happy Date, 22 data were found. In the lyrics of the song Baby You, there is 1 data in the form of words and 14 data in the form of code mixing in the form of phrases. In the lyrics of the song Happy Date, there are 15 data in the form of code mixing in the form of words and 7 data in the form of code mixing in the form of phrases. The factors that cause code mixing are (1) situational factors, (2) factors of using contemporary language terms, (3) factors of limited vocabulary in Japanese.
