dc.description.abstract | This research aims to describe the intrinsic elements in the Upin & Ipin Animated Film Episode Legenda Kampung Boy such as theme, characters and characterization, background plot and message. Describe the social phenomena that occur in the Upin & Ipin Animated Film Episode Legenda Kampung Boy which includes social facts, social events, social behavior and social change. The theories used in this research are structural theory and literary sociology. The research data is sourced from the Upin & Ipin Animated Film Episode Legenda Kampung Boy. The data collection technique used in this research was the note- taking technique. The analysis technique used in this research is dialogue and image analysis in the Upin & Ipin Animated Film Episode Legenda Kampung Boy. The results of this research show that in the intrinsic elements there is a theme of using technology at an early age. There are 15 characters and characterizations, all of whom are protagonists. The plot in this film is a mixed plot. The setting of the place is 7 data, the setting of the time is 3 data, and the background of the atmosphere is 5 data. The message we want to convey is don't be easily influenced, gadgets will never replace friendship.
