Analisis Pengelolaan Arsip Dinamis di Kantor Lembaga Penyiaran Publik TVRI Stasiun Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This study aims to examine how TVRI North Sumatra manages its dynamic archives, focusing on the creation, use, maintenance, and disposal procesees. A descriptive research methodology with a qualitative approach was adopted for this study. This study utilized purposive sampling techniques to choose informants. Data for this study was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis techniques process involved data gathering, reduction and categorization, followed by presentation of the findings and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the management of dynamic archives at the Office of the Public Broadcasting Corporation TVRI North Sumatra Station was based on the Regulation of the Board of Directors of the Public Broadcasting Corporation Televisi Republik Indonesia regarding archives. Prior to the implementation of dynamic archive management, TVRI's Administration Division conducted archiving by manually inputting incoming and outgoing mail into archive boxes. Over the past two years, TVRI has implemented dynamic archive management, but it has not yet fully complied with the regulations. This is evident in the lack of indexing and cross-referencing of archives, the use of only one archive category (general archives) in the archive list, the absence of archive reporting, one-stop access services, and adequate archive maintenance facilities, and the non-implementation of archive disposal due to the recent implementation of dynamic archive management.
