dc.description.abstract | Currently, Pantai Cermin District is used in various land use activities to support the income of the local community. In terms of population, economy, facilities and infrastructure Pantai Cermin District has experienced rapid development so that this area can be said to be a coastal ecotourism area. The increase in population every year will cause the need for housing to increase which has an impact on changes in various fields. In addition, the density of vegetation will also create comfort and coolness in a land use. The relationship between land wetness and vegetation density and building density is very interrelated. The study aims to analyze the distribution of vegetation density, the distribution of land wetness and the distribution of building density in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. By using Sentinel-2 imagery through remote sensing techniques using NDVI, NDWI and NDBI methods in 2022. Based on the results of the study, the distribution of vegetation density class values is the widest class, namely in the 'very dense' class which has an area of 3,772.92 Ha (45.80%). While the vegetation density class with the smallest area in the 'non-vegetation' class which has an area of 348.19 Ha (4.23%). The distribution of land wetness class values is the widest land wetness class, namely in the 'non-water body' class which has an area of 4,278.52 Ha (51.94%). While the wetness class of land with the smallest area in the wetness class of 'high' land which has an area of 7.39 Ha (0.09%). The distribution of building density class values is the widest building density class in the 'non-building' building density class which has an area of 6,234.48 Ha (75.70%). While the building density class with the smallest area in the 'high' building density class which has an area of 108.96 Ha (1.32%). The need for special monitoring and maintenance of vegetation, built-up land and land wetness. | en_US |
