dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the response of growth and production of
sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) Kawali Variety to the Provision of Coffee Peel
Waste and NPK 16:16:16 Fertilizer in Ratun I. This research was conducted at
Jalan Harmonika Baru, Padang Bulan Selayang II, Medan Selayang District,
Medan with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level. This research was
conducted from June 2023 to October 2023. The design used Ra ndomized
Complete Bloc Design ( R C BD) consisting of 3 replicates with 2 treatments.
Factor I coffee skin compost: 0 kg/plot, 3.5 kg/plot, 7 kg/plot, and 10.5 kg/plot.
Factor II NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer: 0 g/planting hole and 20 g/planting hole.
Based on the results of the research conducted that the provision of coffee skin
compost has a si gnificant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of tillers,
1000 seed production, seed production per sample. The application of NPK
16:16:16 fertilizer has an effe ct on stem diameter. The intera c tion of the treatment
of coffee skin compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer had a significant effect on
plant height and crown fresh weight. | en_US |
