Strategi Pengelolaan Hutan Mangrove untuk Mendukung Rehabilitasi Mangrove oleh Kelompok Tani Hutan Penghijauan Maju Bersama di Desa Pasar Rawa Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Mangrove management strategy is an activity designed to determine the management action plan that will be carried out in an effort to conserve mangroves. Rehabilitation activities can be used as an effort to restore and create mangrove ecosystems that have been damaged and restore their function to be stable. The mangrove forest area in Pasar Rawa Village is still maintained because the community plays an active role in striving for the preservation of mangrove forests. This research will be carried out in September-December 2023 in Pasar Rawa Village, Langkat Regency. The stage of this research method is to conduct a SWOT analysis on determining mangrove forest management strategies in supporting mangrove rehabilitation by forest famer group (KTH) Penghijauan Maju Bersama. Based on the calculation results of internal and external factors in the position between the Strengths / Opportunity axis, namely square 1, which means that mangrove forest management in supporting rehabilitation in the forest famer group (KTH) Penghijauan Maju Bersama is recommended to carry out a progressive strategy by utilizing the internal strengths of forest famer group to benefit from external opportunities to achieve mangrove forest management in supporting mangrove rehabilitation.
