Persepsi Kelompok Tani Hutan Penghijauan Maju Bersama terhadap Pengelolan Mangrove di Desa Pasar Rawa Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

The perception of the community around mangroves is needed in mangrove management to know the design of management actions that will be carried out in an effort to preserve mangroves. This research aims to evaluate the perception of the "Kelompok Tani Hutan Penghijauan Maju Bersama" regarding mangrove management in Pasar Rawa Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. Perception is measured through respondents' knowledge and attitudes using a questionnaire. The results of research on 23 respondents showed that the results of simultaneous hypothesis testing (f test) calculated F value > F table (42.951 > 3.49) showed that there was a simultaneous influence of attitudes and knowledge on perceptions in mangrove management. The magnitude of the influence of attitude and knowledge variables on perception based on the coefficient of determination (R2) is 80,3% while the remaining is 19.7% is influenced by other factors.
