dc.description.abstract | This study rigorously investigates the impact of school library utilization on students' academic achievement at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai. Employing a robust quantitative research method within a causal associative framework, the study sampled 91 students using purposive sampling techniques. Data were meticulously collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Prerequisite analyses included thorough tests for normality, heteroscedasticity, and linearity. The data analysis encompassed comprehensive descriptive analysis for variable description, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and path analysis using SPSS Statistics Version 23. The critical variables examined were 1) school library utilization and 2) student academic achievement. The findings of this study are significant, revealing a positive and substantial relationship between library utilization and student academic achievement, with tcount (6.681) exceeding ttable (1.986). This indicates that increased library utilization corresponds with improved academic performance. Specifically, library utilization accounts for 33.4% of the variance in student achievement, categorized as a moderate effect, while the remaining 66.6% is attributed to other factors not explored in this study. These results underscore the crucial role of school library resources in enhancing student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai during the 2023/2024 academic year. | en_US |
