dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to analyse the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factors that affect the performance of librarians at the Labuhanbatu regency library and archives office. The research used descriptive methods with a quantitative approach. The data collected are primary and secondary data. The population in this study were all librarians at the library and archives services of Labuhanbatu Regency, which amounted to 27 people with a saturated sampling technique. The data collection method used in this study was using questionnaire distribution. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis methods and path analysis using SPSS statistics version 29. The results of the study showed that (1) the intrinsic factor has a t-count value of 3.960, while the t-table value is 2.059. This comparison shows that t-count is greater that t-table (4.781>2.059). This means that the extrinsic factor variable (x2) has a significant influence on performance. (3) Independent extrinsic factors have a significant influence on performance. This is evident from the results of the F test calculation which shows that F-count value is greater than F-table, which is 32.037>3.39. Thus, it can be concluded that overall that extrinsic factors are more influential by 4.781 than intrinsic factors by 3.960. Intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors have a significant effect on the performance of librarians at the Labuhanbatu regency library and archives office. | en_US |
