dc.description.abstract | The goal of this research is to identify the management of electronic records at the head office of South Sumatra Bank. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. The result showed that the management of electronic records at the head office of South Sumatra Bank has been fully implemented effectively, encompassing encompassing four aspects: creation and storage, distribution and usage, maintenance, and disposition. Creation and storage include both born-digital records and digitization. Born- digital refers to records created digitally from the outset, while digitization involves converting analogue records into digital form. Distribution and usage involve the dissemination and utilization of records, while maintenance aims to preserve electronic records in good condition for optimal use. Disposition involves the destruction or deletion of electronic records that are no longer useful. Electronic records management is web-based using the SIPA system, which enhances work efficiency at PT South Sumatra Bank, especially in terms of faster and more accurate electronic records retrieval. Informants in this study were selected using purposive sampling and consisted of three individuals: one chief archivist and two archivists. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, aimed at analyzing relevant and meaningful data. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation, utilizing data triangulation, theory triangulation, and method triangulation. | en_US |
