Struktur Kepribadian Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Seaside Karya Zee: Kajian Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

This research aims to describe the personality structure of the main character in the novel Seaside by Zee, a literary psychology study. This research uses Sigmund Freud's theory to determine the personality structure of the main character in the novel Seaside by Zee. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research indicate that the novel Seaside by Zee has a personality structure, including: 1). The main character's Id gives a feeling of revenge for his father for being caught up in a corruption incident in the case of uncovering data evidence on a large scale; 2). The main character's Ego feels like he doesn't want to listen to his friend's instructions even though he still wants his treatment; 3). The main character's Superego takes action in his actions and avoids every problem, and always assumes that the attitude he takes is always right, which also creates disagreements with people he trusts.
