dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze the intrinsic element and the element of romanticism that found in the novel "The Last Letter from Your Lover" by Jojo Moyes. The approach taken is content analysis such as narrative and dialog text. The theory used in this research is the theory of romanticism perspective from William Wordsworth. It is found that intrinsic elements such as; theme and characterization. In this novel also found five elements of romanticism in character Jennifer & Anthony: Melancholy, Imagination, Emotion, Individualism, and Exoticsm. Meanwhile in character Ellie & John, researcher found three elements of romanticism: Melancholy, Imagination, and Individualism. It can be concluded this research provides a picture of life that problem of infidelity is still related to the current era.en_US
