dc.description.abstract | This research entitled NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION IN “BIRD BOX” MOVIE aims to find out the types of Nonverbal Communication in the movie "Bird Box” and the representation meaning of Nonverbal Communication in the movie “Bird Box”. The theory used in this research is Semiotic that based on Peirce’s Triadic concept Model. The research method used is qualitative descriptive content analysis. The research's data consists of captured scenes from the movie. The selected survival scene of “Bird Box” movie survival’s scene is the source of the data. After analyzing the existing data, it was found that the types of nonverbal communication in movie are Kinesics, Facial Expressions, Eye Contact, Haptics, Paralanguage, Clothing, and Physical Environment. The most common type is Kinesics, and the least common are Clothing and Eye Contact. This research explores how nonverbal communication movie effectively represents tension, fear, and interpersonal dynamics in a survival situation. Peirce's Triadic Semiotic Model illustrates how nonverbal cues in a movie relate to specific objects, enhancing audience comprehension and storytelling. | en_US |
